General Terms and Conditions
The agreements between you and Booqdoo — clear and without small print.
Last updated: 20 August 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms apply to
Booqdoo is an online business platform (appointments, website, webshop, POS, and accounting) and a product of Diginomad (Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 72588195), hereinafter referred to as "Booqdoo" or "we". These terms apply to all use of booqdoo.com and to every Booqdoo subscription. By subscribing or using the service, you agree to these terms.
2. The subscription
- A subscription gives you access to your own Booqdoo environment with the functionality of the chosen package (see the packages).
- The first month is free. You are not tied to anything: if you cancel within the trial month, you pay nothing.
- After that, the subscription runs monthly and can be cancelled monthly, without a notice period longer than one month.
- Booqdoo is intended for business use by freelancers and companies, not for consumers.
3. Prices and payment
- Current prices are listed on booqdoo.com/pricing. All prices are exclusive of VAT.
- Payment is made monthly in advance, via the offered payment method.
- Price changes will be announced at least one month in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the new price takes effect.
- In case of non-payment, we may — after a reminder — suspend access to your environment until payment is received.
4. Your use of the service
- You are responsible for the content you place in your environment (texts, products, prices, customer data) and for complying with the legislation applicable to your business.
- You keep your login details secret and report it to us immediately if you suspect that someone else has access.
- It is not permitted to use the service for unlawful purposes, spam, or activities that disrupt the operation of the platform for others.
- In case of misuse, we may suspend access or terminate the subscription; where reasonable, we will warn you first.
5. Availability and maintenance
We do our utmost to keep Booqdoo available at all times, but cannot guarantee 100% availability. Scheduled maintenance is carried out as much as possible outside office hours and will be announced if it has a noticeable impact. We resolve outages as quickly as possible.
6. Your data
- The data in your environment (customers, appointments, products, accounting) remains yours.
- We regularly back up the platform.
- Upon termination of your subscription, you can export your data. Thirty days after termination, we will permanently delete your environment.
- How we handle personal data is stated in our privacy statement; for your customers' data, we act as a processor.
7. Intellectual property
All rights to the Booqdoo platform, software, and corporate identity remain with Booqdoo/Diginomad and its licensors. Booqdoo is built on Odoo software; the associated licenses apply to the underlying open-source components. You retain all rights to your own content and data.
8. Liability
We provide Booqdoo with care, but our liability is limited to direct damage and to a maximum of the amount you paid in subscription fees in the six months prior to the damage-causing event. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost revenue or loss of data, insofar as it was not exported by you when it could have been. These limitations do not apply in cases of intent or deliberate recklessness.
9. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms, for example, due to new functionality or changed legislation. Significant changes will be announced at least one month in advance. If you do not agree with a change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
10. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes will first be discussed together; if we cannot reach an agreement, the Dutch court has jurisdiction.
