Privacy Policy
How Booqdoo handles your data — concise, honest, and in plain English.
Last updated: 20 August 2026
1. Who we are
Booqdoo is a product of Diginomad (Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 72588195) and is the data controller for personal data collected via this website. Questions about privacy? Email [email protected].
2. What data we collect
Depending on how you use Booqdoo, we process:
- Contact and demo requests — name, email address, optionally phone number, company name, and your message.
- Account data — if you subscribe to Booqdoo: name, company details, email address, and billing information.
- Usage data — technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited (via log files and statistics, see point 7).
3. What we use your data for
- Answering your question or demo request (basis: legitimate interest / pre-contractual phase).
- Providing and invoicing your Booqdoo subscription (basis: performance of the contract).
- Improving our website and service through anonymised statistics (basis: legitimate interest).
- Complying with legal obligations, such as tax retention requirements (basis: legal obligation).
We never use your data for purposes not listed here, and we never sell it to third parties.
4. Your customers' data
If you use Booqdoo for your own business, your customers enter their data (name, email, phone number, appointment details) into your Booqdoo environment. For this data, you are the data controller and Booqdoo is the processor: we process this data solely on your behalf, to provide the service, and do not use it for our own purposes. We formalise these arrangements in a data processing agreement that is part of your subscription.
5. How long we retain data
- Contact and demo requests: up to 12 months after the last contact.
- Account and billing data: during your subscription, and thereafter as long as the statutory (tax) retention period of 7 years requires.
- Data in your Booqdoo environment: up to 30 days after termination of your subscription, after which it will be deleted.
6. With whom we share data
Only with parties necessary to provide the service, such as our hosting provider and — if you use online payments — the payment provider. We enter into data processing agreements with these parties. We do not share data with other third parties, unless required by law.
7. Cookies and statistics
This website uses functional cookies necessary for the site to work, and Google Analytics to measure website usage. We have configured Google Analytics to be privacy-friendly: statistics are used at an aggregated level and we do not combine them with other personal data.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL), a separate database per customer, access security, and regular backups.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict processing, object, and transfer your data (data portability). Send your request to [email protected]; we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
10. Changes
We may amend this privacy policy, for example, due to new functionality. The current version is always available on this page; the date of the last change is shown at the top.
